"You know it is not possible," she answered back, lowering her eyes toward the cold sea.

"Don't put limits on what I can do, my Lady of the great Oceans." The corsair looked at the horizon and grinned. "What I dream, I get it."

Would you have expected something different from me?
Vampires, romanticism, birds and blue.. some of my favourite things XP
If I should talk about my dreams, this is what you'd see.
Not that I dream about being a figurehead :XD: but.. who knows, maybe I'd like to see the ocean from there, looking at the waves slinding under the ship, feeling the salt on my face, the scent of the old wood around me..

I do miss the sea.

I really should go spend some hours on the seafront of this silly city.. even if the water is polluted, the sea still makes me daydream :)

It suddenly reminded me of a book my sister has called 'Vampirates'. Good read even if it is meant for a teenage audience I enjoyed it. I really like your painting style and the way you do faces.

Absolutely gorgeous picture and also just a very soothing and beautiful piece to the heart as well. It really has a way of moving the viewer just by the image alone. The look on their faces and the wonderful colors ... just beautiful. No other word but beautiful <3

I reckon this is one of the nicest artworks I've come across of late. Beautiful theme and I love the amount of attention you placed with the ship's design, the birds and the background, which settles everything off nicely. The colour of the sky adds to the dreamlike atmosphere's mystic as well, and I can't get enough of the figurehead's expression. =)

A great scene, full of sadness, hope, and determination. These are all the things that make a dream and also the keys to make them come true.

The level of detail is one of your best and I'm glad you entered into such an important contest. I hope you place. :pray: Your colors are very clear and pleasing to the eye. The scenery itself, you can clearly see it's a beautiful evening and you can let your imagination do the rest. The gulls crying, the waves crashing on the rocks, even the smell of salt in the air. :nod:

I personally love the details of the boat, the ropes, the lines, even the mast. Especially the intricate design on the siding, beautifully crafted. :love:

You are welcome with translation, if there is anything else you need help with, I will always lend a hand. I always edit Mike's stuff. :devilish:

Pirates are awesome and I love the corsairs clothes he's so sexy without even trying. His stare is full of pride and desire. It makes me want to be rescued! :giggle: And for the mermaid, very creative making her alive. I always thought the figurehead on ships were always stunning. She outranks them all! :trophy: Her eyes are breathtaking. I would blush too at a handsome man. :strip:

Mike would love it, he is so into pirates! He loves this icon. :ahoy: :laughing:
